E.H.C "Environmental Health Club" 

      E.H.C stands for Environmental Health Club. It was formed in the year 2005 with the aim to maintain health and hygiene i the school and take proper care of cleanliness and sanitation. It was one of the initiative taken b VHAS "Voluntary Health Associatio of Sikkim", under sponsorshi of AUS-AID "An Australian NGO".
   
    The members of E.H.C are students from different class under the leadership and guidance of Mr. D. Biswas who is the tutor of our school.

E.H.C is divided into three clubs:-

   Health Club
   Watsun Club
  Environment Club

 
 

HEALTH CLUB : It looks after the health of the school students. Doctors are called for annual check up of students with the provision of free medicine. The club menbers distribute soap stripe to every students in order to inculcate the habit of handwashing, thus maintaining Health and Hygine in the school

 
WATSUN CLUB : It means Water and Sanitation Club. It looks after the water facilities of the school. Monthly cleaning of water filter are done under their guidance. This provides after drinking water to the students. They also make sure that water is supplied properly in the washroom . A cleaning starr is kept for the maintenance of the toilet and toiletries. Soap solution is also prepared for cleaning hands after
 
ENVIRONMENT CLUB : It looks after the cleanliness of the school campus and plantation. They have installed dustbins in every class room and around the school campus. They have beautified the school campus with different flowering plants. Thus giving a wonderful impression to the viewers.
 
MONITORING CLUB : It looks after the activities of these three clubs and provides funds for its maintenance under the leadership of Mr. D. Biswas, the incharge of E.H.C. The fund is actually collected from the school students with the annual fees. A sum of Rs. 45 is taken from every students for this purpose.
 
E.H.C is the most important working body of our school, who maintains the habit of cleanliness and provides clean campus to live in. The contribution of E.H.C is also appreciated by our School Principal. Thus she gives sovenier and prize to the active member. So that the zeal of working is maintained in E.H.C.
